How the Accredited Trainer Approval Process Works

The process to become an ICTQual AB Accredited Trainer follows a structured and quality-assured pathway to ensure that only competent, experienced, and professionally qualified trainers are approved. The approval process consists of the following key stages:

Candidates begin by confirming that they meet the basic eligibility requirements, including:

  • Holding a recognized Training the Trainer qualification
  • Having at least two years of verified training experience
  • Providing relevant professional documentation (CV, certificates, experience evidence)

This step ensures that only suitably experienced professionals proceed further.

Eligible candidates must enrol through an ICTQual AB Approved Centre, such as:

  • ATTICS International, or
  • Inspire College of Technologies UK

The approved centre will guide candidates through the application and certification process.

Candidates must successfully complete the Certified Trainer Licence (CTL) programme, which includes:

  • Written assignments across 10 study units
  • Submission of at least 15 minutes of video evidence per unit demonstrating real training practice
  • Professional assessment of training competence by qualified assessors

This stage validates the candidate’s practical training skills and professional capability.

Once the CTL is completed, the approved centre will:

  • Review the candidate’s portfolio and evidence
  • Verify training experience and professional competence
  • Provide a formal recommendation to ICTQual AB for Accredited Trainer status

Only candidates who meet the required standards will be recommended.

ICTQual AB conducts a final review, which may include:

If approved, the candidate is officially recognized as an ICTQual AB Accredited Trainer.

Upon approval, the candidate is:
