Role of an Accredited Assessor

As an Accredited Assessor with ICTQual AB UK Ltd., you will hold a key responsibility in safeguarding the quality, integrity, and global recognition of our qualifications.

In this role, you will:

  • Plan, facilitate, and conduct fair, valid, reliable, and rigorous assessments for learners undertaking ICTQual AB qualifications, ensuring consistency across assessment decisions.
  • Apply ICTQual AB’s global quality standards, assessment policies, and ethical frameworks to ensure all assessments meet internationally accepted benchmarks.
  • Evaluate learner evidence objectively against defined learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
  • Provide clear, constructive, and developmental feedback to support learner progression, competence, and professional growth.
  • Maintain accurate assessment records and documentation in line with regulatory, quality assurance, and audit requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting internal and external quality assurance processes and the ongoing enhancement of assessment practices.

Candidate Requirements

To qualify as an Accredited Assessor with ICTQual AB UK Ltd., candidates must meet the following international-standard criteria:

Educational Qualifications

  • Possess relevant internationally recognised qualifications in your field of expertise (e.g. assessing, vocational education, professional discipline).
  • Preferred qualifications include assessor-specific credentials such as Award in Assessing Vocational Achievement (or equivalent).

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in assessment, training, industry practice, or quality assurance.
  • Demonstrable expertise in evaluating competence against set standards and criteria.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and evaluation skills.
  • Ability to apply assessment principles with fairness, consistency, and integrity.

How the Assessor Approval Process Works

Becoming an Approved Assessor is simple, transparent, and supportive. The process includes the following steps

Complete and submit the enquiry form expressing your interest in becoming an assessor.

You will receive an email or phone response, including the assessor application form and guidance on required documentation

Submit the completed application along with supporting evidence of your qualifications, experience, and areas of expertise.

ICTQual AB reviews your application and may engage in dialogue to clarify details during the evaluation process.

You will be notified of the outcome of your application.

Successful applicants receive an official assessor approval and contract from ICTQual AB.
